Lynn Cutter is an Operating Director at ClearPoint. Over her more than 30 years of general management experience, Lynn has had a focus on strategy and business development and direct and digital marketing in the travel and media sectors.

Most recently, Lynn was at National Geographic as the Executive Vice President of Travel, where she led National Geographic Expeditions from its launch in 1999 to a $170 million gross revenue business. Lynn expanded the company’s offering to encompass a full-range of private jet, student, family, active, photography, and private/custom expeditions, which included the establishment of National Geographic Journeys. Lynn also oversaw (i) National Geographic’s partnership and alliance with Lindblad Expeditions, which grew more than five-fold from its launch in 2005 to 2017, and (ii) the launch of National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World, which as of 2017, included 56 outstanding properties.

Prior to joining National Geographic, Lynn operated her own consulting practice specializing in new business launches in the travel and media industry. Lynn also held senior executive positions at The Disney Channel, Lindblad Expeditions, Bell Atlantic Video Services, and Citicorp.
Lynn holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University and a B.S. in marketing and a B.A. in journalism from Lehigh University.
